"Before: A bright and sunny family, Ingrid and Dean’s home didn’t reflect their warm personalities. It was white and tiled in texture, with disproportionate furniture and rooms that were crying out for personality.
After: We added sheer curtains to soften, add warmth and improve acoustics. We created different seating zones in the home, lounge, TV watching, family dinners and an area for the family to gather without screens, play board games and do puzzles. In the master bedroom, we added textural blue wallpaper, painted the brown bricks white, added luxurious curtains and a small sofa at the end of the bed as a spot for a child to sleep when they had a bad night, rather than an old foam mattress on the floor. Lots of layering of materials and textures to create interest and personality. Both functional and lovely to look at!"
